If they were going to do a CR or right issue the best time to have done it was during Oct/Nov when it appears these cash flow issues were becoming evident to management.
Going to the banks, as a retailer, after Christmas (when you should have the most cash on hand you will have all year) just looks stupid and an attempt to shut the barn door after the horse has bolted.
