and Hartree will pick up the mine at a distressed price, still operating, with delivery contacts in place, and no shareholders to worry about. A perfect Christmas present. The Team from Oceans 11 would be impressed with this heist.
Voting no on Hartrees offer was not the smartest move, they probably would have stiffed the SHs anyway, but a least you live to fight another day.
IMO the mouthpiece on HC who continually pushed the NO vote has a lot to answer for….there were probably many people sitting on the fence with the Hartree proposal who were enticed over the edge like lemmings and now left with nothing.
Its unfortunate the company has to take on hot money from a major SH to get up and running in the early days, but we didn’t have many choices and I can’t blame JL for that. But ultimately that was the Cos downfall.
