Not wishing to pour cold water on the pouring of cold water but writing the whole thing off as a tax loss might have been emotionally easier, anything better than a total loss is probably better than nothing. The process has gone ahead pretty quickly given what this all amounts to. This has all been really disappointing, more than can probably be stated in this forum, and questions about lack of disclosure and so on remain unanswered (including accountability questions), but the debt is cleared, there is an underlying asset, and potential to go ahead with developing said asset. We should be able to trade again, and maybe after this thorough fleecing some wool will grow back. Fingers crossed.
