I think you miss their point... The PCR detects "dead" corona virus and treats the patient as positive.Thats their relation to "less accurate" as in dont detect the past history and only the active corona cases.I wouldnt be surprised if 50%(pure guess here, but would make a huge difference to the reported numbers) of the people tested in Victoria even have 'active' Coroan viruses due to using PCR testing.
