I don't think the companies are really into pip trading though, they're more about the big moves because they work with large accounts. It would be hard for them to get in and out of smaller stocks like these because of the liquidity factors.
Trading this can be profitable because of the higher percentage increases between pips for retail traders but it would take a lot of effort by the instos to be pip trading. Otherwise they would be pip trading most stocks. They have the algorithms to help them move between pips but the majority of the money is made by the big moves, not the pips.
