Money is not the only reason to take investment from an organisation.
eg:
Life sciences : Merck Sharp have far greater research & development resources at their finger tips, with deep pockets. They also have instant worldwide distribution and bring credibility to ADO's Life sciences division......
Energy : Volkswagen would be constantly kissing a lot of frogs in the energy space to find their prince, Anteo would benefit from their R&D team and credibility their involvement brings...
Two examples of investment from industry partners which would be welcomed by shareholders... we are better of having a large share of a watermelon than 100% of a grape...
ADO share price would fly on such an announcement...
