    No proof, but in IMHO it was a fundie anticipating our inclusion in the ASX300.

    Some index managers get set shortly before before the official rebalance as a way of avoiding inflated prices once the rebalance has been announced. It's a slight gamble for them but they'll take any advantage they can get in a crowded market.
