So then you need to explore a bit further and ask who is doing the trading at those volumes and what are their motives? Are they insiders with external connections, or outsiders who know more than what is being announced, either way it is a bad look and un-nerving for genuine potential investors.
On occasion people have to see past the glitter and concentrate what the end game may be here.
