You make a good point, that David is likely to be a good negotiator. Nevertheless, I used to accept that the reason our collaborators have previously not agreed to our releasing their names, was for reasons of commercial confidentiality. That may be in part quite true in many cases. And sometimes, perhaps they don't want to share any glory. But we were forever referring to PoC1 and PoC2, weren't we? Since then we haven't given each a moniker, just a number.

Suppose that they preferred anonymity primarily because they wanted to be sure of success? After all, it's not cheerful thing to have to confess to shareholders and the market generally, that some exploratory venture has not proceeded. So the difference now is perhaps twofold: greater confidence, and more advanced projects, with more specific and measurable outcomes.

But doubting Toms have a valuable role to play! The best to you, mate!
