BW....actually your point adds to the irony of the MPs visit....the guy in question (Mr Vasta) and his party voted against said bill in the house.....that stance being duplicated by LNP in the upper house is why the Government is relying on the greens and/or independents in the Senate to get it passed.
Just to be clear - I'm not making a partisan point......worked for all colours / persuasions over the journey, that's the job. My assessment is just based on combining the substance of what's being said and done, with the politics and the patterns that I observe.
IMO something's up!.....Mr Vasta wants to be seen to be having influence when in substance, he has none.
He is using politics and publicitiy to be seen to be driving ADO to the Ministers' attention, with a view and to take credit for any decisions the Minister may make as it relates to ADO.....although if there is a decisions it won't necessarily happen this month or next.....but maybe??
Ask this - Why would an MP go on the record in both socials and parliament (hansard), advocating for a relatively unknown company with no public / political profile, which is outside his electorate, if he thought he was going to be seen to fail?......and alternatively render himself, in the eyes of the local public, as being of no influence whatsoever!.......Why would he take the risk of being seen to be politically impotent in his electorate, for a little company like ADO?
Sorry for posting a bit too much on this....TBH, the hansard extract is the only reason I have decided to hold all my shares today, rather then offset some conversion costs.
So, I'm not just finding the politics interesting, this has got more financially interesting for me as of today also.
