I see Sila as a direct competitor to Anteo. Sila needs entire factories to produce their product, Anteo needs nothing more than a ‘brewery’. With government subsidies and partners, such a plant could be installed quickly.
Equipping the new electric G-Class with batteries is no mean feat, these vehicles cost 200,000€ so it could be an expensive titanium anode. But who will dominate the volume products that have to use 30% cheaper batteries than those currently in use?
We don't need electric cars with a range of 2,000 kilometres, nor do we need charging times of 5 minutes. What we need are safe batteries that are much cheaper and weigh less. After that, nothing for a long time.
When Anteo has the first contract with a car manufacturer in the bag, the true value will be recognised.Sila is an initial orientation for me.
