The problem with the perpetually offended is that you believe that when you shriek, “I’m offended,” I’m supposed to recoil in horror at my transgressions and throw myself at your feet, begging forgiveness. Well here’s the thing about opinions… I’m entitled to inform the opinion that you are unreasonable to be offended because you have totally missed the point of the post - talking about stocks, in a stock forum. So why retract my post? Because you’ve formed some ridiculous conclusion I am somehow insensitive or lack compassion?
Where do you stop, CMK? Do we stop calling black tea “black“, in case someone is offended it’s racist? Or do you use context to conclude I’m talking about a tea without milk?
Context is everything. I’m on a stock forum talking about stocks.
