BTW; I assume this diagram was the one you found on Anteo's website? A good find, especially now it has been taken down...obviously sensitive. Not your fault.
Firstly, I doubt the diagram is that accurate or "drawn exactly to scale", so I would be cautious in drawing timescale inferences from it.
Secondly, symmetrical "bell curves" may give rise to both positive and negative outcomes.
For example; yes, on the face of it higher sensitivity would allow earlier detection of the virus. It would also allow detection of the virus when the body was defeating the virus and reducing it to a very low level. In fact, some tests now give "false positives" because they can detect fragments of viral RNA, leftover from the body's immune system. So these people (currently) continue to quarantine even though they are no longer a risk.
But, all in all, still positive for ADO.
