I detest government intervention or spruiking of a company or product. I see it as a last ditch effort to garner support from the public purse rather than stand alone merits of investment grade potential. Labor are not good judges of success potential and many in the investment community will see this, so in effect for me it's a threat rather than an opportunity for ADO to have a minister 'advertising' for them. Labor has also been the biggest contributor to manufacturing & industry decline during their tenure sending businesses off shore to survive.

Husic has the benefit of making commentary when most likely he will be in opposition, so anything said or promised sounds hollow, investors will be aware of this. There is no actual shadow minister for his portfolio as it falls under numerous other shadow ministers so it will be interesting to see who this will fall under.
