First world rich country and lucky country.

Months warning and able to see what was happening in rest of the world and prepare but failed too.
Pop of 25-26 mil spread out over a massive land mass.
To slow to do everything and anything. Unable and unwilling to grasp what was happening.
Like it or not the lockdowns saved us and isolation, the same as the black plague.
All that fuss about AZ.
PCR testing taking days.

The runway should have been cleared for everything we can make here, to be made here.
Especially after all that crap with china blocking our exports.
And where's our 30 billion or so given to big biz that didn't need it. We should get it back.
And these pollies should stop talking to us like we are children.
