we need a sovereign manufacturing effort for rapid tests
we have two world leading companies here in Ellume and anteotech
they cover both the POC and home tests market with data connected tests.
no reason state labor govs couldn’t combine and fund this if the federal liberals don’t show an interest, being an election year this could be politician suicide not to back it. Will create jobs, keep case numbers checked with realtime connected data, will create an export industry and provide assurance of constant supply of rapid tests.
$300M each should secure plant and facilities to manufacture around 200M tests each per year using the US gov model this would be a good start.
