Hi Harrys Cat, I agree, the qld government has gone above and beyond compared to other premiers (let alone the feds). By doing so they invest in skilled manufacturing, jobs, and the future.
My dream is we invest in battery manufacture as well, using Australian raw materials to make a competitive battery demanded internationally.
Australia shot ourselves in the foot with petroleum 40 years ago allowing OPEC to dominate and manipulate the global market for their own gain.
We get another opportunity to be part of energy production as the world transitions away from fossil fuel, but, will we have the gumption to make our own batteries, or will we ship our raw materials and IP overseas?
Getting back to your point though, I'm pretty happy to have a proactive premier keen to support innovation manufacturing and jobs...
