Interesting point you raise regarding the Australian Govt. They already supply huge dollars to hundreds of Australian companies in the form of research and development grants. ADO received its last substantial R&D grant back in April 2020 being $966,562. They seem to apply and receive these sorts of grants on an annual basis subject to activities being pursued.
Under the current R&D system i doubt very much whether the govt would become further involved because other companies in this competitive space would become aggrieved, claiming bias and unfair advantage. This is why the current R&D system is in place.
Anyway one can never say never and in the unlikely event they do become involved it would be huge for ADO.
Trading in recent times is telling us the market although cautious is liking the Covid test story.
