Even if your solution is good, you need good management to do deals with big tech as they move quick.
ADRC was promising, that hope is slowly fading as silicon valley moves towards its own IOT stacks. Basically XPE was a gamble from the beginning in ADRC - if they could pull it off and get their solution in the hands of tech quickly and be the favourable solution, they'd be worth a couple of hundred million.
Unfortunately that window is rapidly closing.
