Well yes of course it would be preferable for aluminium to have a 50% price jump than silver. But silver is rising, so it's a pleasant fact, not a hypothetical what would you rather question. But recently everything has been going up, aluminium, copper, manganese, met coal, nickel, silver, zinc, so what's not to like?
