Yes I have read that, the speed in which you get on the NBN is guaranteed at the front of the house before it hits the copper. But just because you get 12/1 speed contract can you actually get faster speed or is it limited?
See this is the difference with the NBN and ADSL. ADSL say what your maximum will be, NBN just say what you are guaranteed at the front of the house. So it is possible to get a 12/1 speed but get a 20/3 speed line?
