I am a pragmatic holder. No one truly knows which company will deliver on their promises. As holders we all want to have multibaggers and rocket into the millionaires club if not higher. Hence while I agree the capex in stocks like cxo could be an impediment I also know that from a trading perspective there is huge support and sentiment with cxo at the moment. Hence I am not attached to a stock and if sentiment changes so will I. The only stock which I am overweight is adv due to its multipronged approached. My aim with all thes stocks is to trade and have a free carry. Hence then I can use TA to ride or hold the success and to exit to protect capital if support levels get broken. I normally encourage all holders in the spec end to capitalise on profits this way. This way one ends up reinvesting profits into other stocks while still holding parcels purely using profits. I notice many posters are very good at making massive gains but unfortunately just hold and lose a large amount if not all by not locking in and hedging their bets. Will adv make production- too early to call. Will it have a greater possibility of making it than other - no doubt. Hence my goal with adv is to reduce back to my original holding levels as in the top 20 (I have more since) if we hit 4plus. My ultimate aim is to hold about 1/2 if that on free carry and have some funds for cr etc in the future as I do not want my holdings to be diluted. in general the tip is that whenever one is in the speccie commodity space - look at the drilling or orther key event schedule and start paying attention 4-6 weeks prior to commencement . Also keep an eye on the short positions in all stocks one invests. In regards to drilling keep an eye on when drilling is to stop as things cool and retreat after. If initial drilling is good and some broker support comes rude the momentum but be prepared to sell using TA and buy back in Lon the troughs cos it happens without failure. Then re evaluate after cycle is complete. Wait for stability and restart. Hence why I still am interested in cxo as more results to come. However why I am more interested in adv as we are just coming up to the real deal and dec Jan will be prosperous if results gain momentum. Allstrap in. The registry will give us a clue. The first stamp is 3.2/3.3 to breach. Then further congestion to low 4s.

Good Advice insaf....I hope the newbies do take your advice...I to have increased my holding here by about 25% intend to do the same as you have advised other to do....I think we will plenty of opportunities to get a Free carry in ADV ....I also play one stack against another
