An important note to consider, if Albanese and the ALP truly wanted PEP-11 to be quashed, they'd have been making it clear months ago with a concentrated campaign instead of a last-minute conference on the beach days before an expected decision.

I'm of the opinion that PEP-11 approval was decided months ago, and the government was waiting-out for the right time.

The vaccines are being rolled out this month, the gas led recovery is kicking off, carbon capture storage to quell emissions, etc etc. This is going to pan-out pretty damn well for the government, and even more so for us holders.

...oh also, don't forget our PM is the bloke who literally brought a lump of coal into parliament 3 years ago shouting "this is coal, don't be afraid"! - I mean seriously, this rig will drill - mark my words
