I believe this whole political stunt is to show the world theyve considered every single consequence before coming to an agreement. How bad would it look if a decision was made weeks in advance, signed off without a second thought or opinion.
imagine the votes the libs would win if they pull this off for the economy rather than ignore and let nsw potentially run out of gas based on "what ifs" that could impact the coast. we already know most if not all rigs around australia is successful.
