    Well Assailed, I consider myself to have a reasonable grasp of politics but I am far from an expert. Based on Albo's showing in Terrigal, I am convinced that PEP11 won't be a part of the next National election debate. It will have some micro impact locally, but if you use Adani as a benchmark, the LNP held and increased their majorities in Queensland at the last election. Quiet Australains. I am happy to predict right here and now that from Wentworth to Newcastle, status quo will remain. I don't think the Libs will prise the Mad Monk's old seat off Zali but they won't lose any either. If Antony Green, Barrie Cassidy and Chris Uhlmann ever talk about the "speech on the beach" being a pivotal moment in Australian politics then, well, you know the rest...
