The author apparently blames a product for his own lack of responsibilities. Following his logic, we should stop selling cigarettes, alcohol, and ban casinos. These products are a lot more dangerous than Afterpay.

Afterpay’s terms are loud and clear. If it is not for you, just let other people enjoy it. The fact is, the product is the same, only people are different. I feel the debate is not about afterpay anymore. It's about whether we should have responsibilities.
