I would like to see improved, more informative packaging. I went into Bunnings, but the LiFX products do not scream out they have 16 million colours controllable by app and other features to make you want to choose LiFX.
The casual browser isn't going to buy LiFX vs Hue if they don't know its knockout capabilities.
I bought one for my son, but he had already bedecked his house with Hue because the LiFX msg isn't getting through. It starts with the packaging. You would think the hard yards have been done already, getting the product on the shelves in store, but that is only the start.
I bought the screw in $89.99 bulb but it requires a different (bigger) lamp setting to screw into than I have at home. Tried to replace it, but Bunnings said that in the smaller size of screw in, it was 50 shades of white, not a colour lamp.
So it needs smaller sizes of the colour globe with smaller screw in as well as more informative packaging.
