I set up alot of international (Cayman Islands, Vanuatu, British Isle) accounts in my past employment. I was fairly young at the time.

In a nutshell it was so people didnt have to pay GST/stamp duty/capital gains on share transactions and these were linked to credit cards issued by Oz banks.

Im out of the loop now but CFD's would provide the perfect money transfer vehicle for these types of personalities imo.
