Perfect start. Obtain exposure to the market, reap its rewards over the long term without having to do much - this is what we want for those of us who dont have the time but more importantly the temperament to invest [which is 99%+ of the population].
Personal preference when it comes down to LICS. Find one that is reputable with good management and low fees.
ARG is the perfect stock.
Personally, I like AUI. Although some just cannot stomach the illiquidity.
