I am after some advice... I am currently at a crossroads in my career and am unsure which road to take. On my left is a road which leads to a field which is very portable, there is always plentiful demand, and remuneration is very good. On my right is a road which leads to a field in which I have more of a passion. However this field only offers employment in selected locations, demand is less and remuneration will be less than aforementioned field.
So I guess the age old question. Does one follow ones heart, or does one follow ones brain? Does one chase the almighty dollar, or does one work in a field in which he truly has an interest?
Please bear in mind that the fictional character in this story has 3 children and a wife to support, hence the seriousness and importance of this decision. Who makes a better Father and husband, a man who is happier, or a man who is richer?
