I must admit I enjoy you posts and find myself following your goodself, finch2, yellowcake and molonski around as I fond the collective advice and information insightful and informative.
I'd like to say that I have been lucky in the markets the last 36 months and now feel a little unerved by the last 2 weeks activities. However I'm well balanced and cashed (now)so I'm sitting tight now.
I LEARNT an enormous lesson by loosing 5k in CNP this week -I lost that money in the exact scenario you described. Luck will no longer help me, LEARNING will.
Watching the market closely these last few days has made me feel actually fortunate that I ONLY LOST 5K.
You now have me worried about GTP :)
May old man (ex bank manager) has been saying to me for 18 months, "son, you've only been seeing the market go up, JUST WAIT till it goes down" ! I think he is about to be right.
