It varies. What happens is that a trading halt for an announcement can last up to two full days. Bids and offers can be entered. If at the end of two days no announcement has been made, the stock will then be suspended, which freezes it.
Usually the announcement will stipulate that trading will recommence once the announcement is released. In this case it says that it may not be until tomorrow.
