well...it is natural to assume that property within the same price bracket WILL be affected in the same way....if people in one street drop the price...drops spread to other streets...
...and if builders drop the price for new...why would you buy old without a hefty discount ?
... general 'feeling' is that property ship is "going down before it starts to go sideways and long before...."
