I purchased my 1st house in 99 and just sold it. My wife is prego and we're looking to buy in the Mt Eliza area (Mornington peninsula). We currently have a budget of 650k but could extend further for the right property as we have allocated funds for our new business. We are considering renting short term while we look for a family home that we will keep for many years but like anyone we want the most bang for our buck. Any advise would be great as property is not my strong point.
