My concern isn't over the timing of the fraccing, that's fine that they want to do them together, that makes sense and the reason is well explained. Technology improves as time goes on and this should be accommodated.
The problem is they are quoting savings, yet have a rig sit idle for 3 odd weeks, my concern is as Sharks37 points out the cost overruns. The planning seems erratic.
If it took some time to review on lessons learnt that's good management and must be done, but you don't just stop everything.
Billabong should already be at the point of drilling the lateral at the very least, nothing has changed to that point.
Zavanna was drilling to TD in 21 days. I would have thought we would have some info from the previous wells at NS and the drilling approach would have been well planned.
