    How much do you think it costs to hire a rig and drill one well then?
    Prices range, sure, but wells can cost over $5mill for everything from spud to production (prices range).. A large portion of that is just for hire of the rig itself, of course you need to pay for man hours on the rig etc, but a big portion is just for the rig hire. $770k a month is suddenly looking not too shabby at all.
