Absolutely Orga, just have a read of BCC's Kenai Loop #3 well in Alaska late last year - a text book example of the value of 3D. Very low risk after KL#1 proved the field but KL#3 missed by a few hundred feet due to a fault line - which they can now see after doing a 3D. Imo 3D is essential (and obviously the ability to read it of course :-)
