What we know...
-We've got a "potential" 51 million barrels (not proved commecial)
-Oil trading at around $100 per barrel
- we have 10% of the "discovery"
- Thats $510m to VIL
- Capex costs, opex costs, royalty costs etc call it $20 a barrel net to VIL...
- Thats $102m net to VIL
- VIL market cap is currently $8.2m so...
- The market is guesstimating that that the commecial success of this find is ~8%
- forgeting value of Fausse Point, Bongo, Bowtie etc, thats all cream on top
- Is it worth an invesment gamble? depends on your risk appetite!!
Thats my very simple idotic take on the current situation.
