The $2,016,880 shorts are actually the net short sale positions. I could be wrong, but doesn't that mean that they weren't necessarily all used yesterday?
It looks like it is the total of shorts at day's end. Unless you have the previous days statement it makes it a bit difficult to interpret yesterdays action.
