Apparently we have 2,000 years of proof that medical cannabis cures cancer! Well, based on similar evidence I'd like to file patents for the commercialisation of tea lead reading, numerology, astrology, powdered tiger penis as a cure for impotence, several methods of protection from ghosts and other malevolent supernatural dangers, and quite a number of methods of turning luck in your own favour.
I swear, if I wasn't aware that there were plenty of people stupid enough to believe the nonsense I read I'd assume the people posting it were for some reason seeking nothing but to destroy their own credibility.
