The Greens were NOT voted for by 91.62% in the Senate. They are the facts.

Its a fringe Party operating on a platform of fear and division with a very small support base.

Also, less than one third of the electorate gave Labor their first preference in the Senate.

That means, more than 70% of the people did NOT choose Labor in the Senate.

Back to the Fringe parties, given that there is some sort of comparison going on between The Greens and One Nation, it is interesting to drill down and compare the 2014-15 annual returns for each to see how much effectively, each vote cost:

One Nation receipts: $11,487.00
One Nation payments: $11,151.00
One Nation debts: $0

The Greens income was over 800 x that of One Nation and they got a whopping 4% more of the vote in the Senate. They also had an advertising and campaign budget of almost $3m in the 2014 financial year!!

Certainly sounds like they give great bang for their buck!
