One Nation fielded 15 Candidates in the HOR
10% of total seats available
In QLD One Nation received 145000 votes or if you like 13.98% of the votes in seats in which One Nation contested
In NSW One Nation received 27300 votes or if you like 9.31% of the votes in the seats in which One Nation contested.
You are stretching the bounds of credibility because One Nation only stood in 10% of the seats therefore obviously a lot or people couldn't vote for them. You can't categorically say voters made a conscious decision to say NO when they didn't get an opportunity to say yes or no.
You like to present poll figures based on small samples which are the extrapolated across the whole electorate
If One Nation's votes are extrapolated across the electorate then I would say, they have done extremely well and the Greens would just love to get those sort of results.
So if you want to knock One Nation based on figures, well get them right and actually do some analysis, before making those reckless statements and just trying to jump on board with the supporters of the anti Pauline Hanson crusade.
Those large number people who voted for One Nation in the electorates contested would quite righly be insulted by your dismissive attitude towards them. 13.98% is a substantial result and should be taken heed of.
