Haven't you noticed the market price fluctuates, therefore if you put a value based trading mentality on, wouldn't you ALWAYS be looking for the lower end of the value range to buy in, and the higher (when you were a seller) to sell in.

Might as well criticise someone for drinking cleaner water than they piss.

Whatever most of us have been in since the GFC, if we continued to hold (as I mostly have) we've probably given back a third to a half of the gains, whether the peak was last month or more commonly in oilers the June Q 09. We probably all wish we'd been a bit more mobile with our investments. Move beyond bitterness, envy and voyeurism (prying on my stocks), take a view and DO something about it.
