"WHY doesn't Lynas just sell the Throium to an Indian firm or someone else who uses Throium? Who cares if Lynas sells it below market or what have you - as long as they make a deal to make it someone else's burden?"
from what little i know of what i've read, there's little to no demand for thorium. i believe there are less than a handful of thorium reactors in the world and most are mostly research reactors. seems that there are ongoing design and operational issues with such reactors.
