It appears they intend to extract sulphur before the gas meets the cellulose rather than removing the sulphur-cellulose reaction residue from the water, there is no mention of how they intend to do that except to say 'promising results achieved during method testing'. I have no observation to make as the details are scant.
Installing spray type water shower nozzles in the absorber to break the foam / make the foaming agent reaction residue remain / re-enter suspension in the water, is also mentioned.
