aexo strong buying on close

Someone was interested in picking up some of the oppies on the close. Took out all the oppies at 1c, 3 million plus I think it was, with some buying left, closing the stock on its high for the day.
Seems strange that someone would hit the oppies like this on the close, considering they expire in April next year (20c payable), and due to AEX having a strong run up over the last month or so, unless there is something big cooking.
I am hoping it is the latter. May possibly get a return back on some options that I thought I would have to kiss good bye.
