    Yes, Honda and Endo are dangerous but mostly when it comes to set pieces. Honda hasn't done much in the tournament and Endo played really poorly in the semi-final, at least in the 90 minutes of normal time I saw.

    Kagawa, who Man Utd have apparently put a $30 million price tag on, had a very poor game by his standards as well. Two ordinary games in a row will be unusual by his own high standards and recent good form.

    I think the biggest dangers for Australia lie elsewhere though in the blistering runs up the left and right-hand flanks by Nagatomo and Uchida respectively crossing into the box for the lightning quick Okazaki to pounce on.

    Japan was very, very unlucky not to score from such a situation early on last night from one such run from Nagatomo crossing into the box for Okazaki only to be denied by a lucky, flailing parry from the keeper which rebounded back into play off the upright.

    Who does Australia have to run with these guys?
