You just desribed a landlord getting hand outs from the taxpayer
A person has to question why you, as a landlord wouldn't want more money for renters as the landlord will be able to charge more rent or is that outside your thinking, the landlord is bludging off the taxpayer, how much more do these landlords leeches want?
Things should go the other way as there are more renters than landlords so renters should have a bigger say, no tax deductions at all for residential property.
