    Indeed, people will always complain cost are to high but supply and demand is the key market driver.

    Housing is some thing every body needs and not as if rental properties are sitting vacant for long so no pressure on land lords to bring down rents.

    Like wise with property prices, here in WA RE prices some areas have doubled in just the last 5 years. Properties were selling within days of being listed, slowed a bit more recently but another 5-10% increase forecast for year. Such is the demand that most properties are not being listed with a sale price, at best they list offers above price.

    With property at all times high and properties not languishing on the market, affordability is only an issue for those that for what ever reason say that is an issue.

    LOL some years back was posting on this forum and there were some that were predicting 50% plus drop in property values, quite sure property values have increased over 100% since then
