The interest rate for the next six months is set at the payment date (or the day before - I forget exactly). The rate is set at whatever the 6 month BBSW is on that day plus a margin of 2.1%.
This worked in our favour last time as BBSW had shot right up. The upcoming period is not looking as favourable.
(Although the lowering of BBSW is not all bad - it reduces the debt burden on AFG which means the notes are safer - basically less reward for less risk)
